Ruth Roman, 75, famous for her explosive mix of sexiness, purity and fame during the 1950s and 1940s of Hollywood she passed away Thursday at the comfort of her Laguna Beach, Calif. house. Richard Hall, her son, confirmed that she died while sleeping. Her breakout performance as Kirk Douglas in Stanley Kramer's "Champion," which was a 1949 re-telling of an original Ring Lardner short story of a maniacal prize fighter, Warner Brothers gave her the lead roles in nine movies in just two months. In just a few hours, she went from acting with Bette in 'Beyond the Forest in 'Beyond the forest', to appearing alongside Milton Berle for 'Always Keep Them Laughing'. Her appearance was on 'Tomorrow is a Different Day with Steve Cochran as the lead and Steve Cochran, one week after finishing "Strangers On a Train..''
