Lita Rossana Ford was born in Britain and is a British American musician, singer and writer. Lita Ford played as the lead guitarist of the All-Girl Hard Rock Band, The Runaways. Ford began a metal solo career after the band broke up in 1979. She took vocal lessons and then released her debut solo album 'Out for Blood', then 'Dancin' On the Edge'. Ford could not do any success with either album and then she decided to leave the music scene for an entire decade. The smash hit album Lita which came out in 1989 was the catalyst that led to her reemergence. The hit single, 'Kiss Me Deadly" and the ballad "Close My Eyes forever" were both big hits. Then she returned with the release of 'Black' in 1995, and 'Wicked Wonderland' almost 15 years later. in 2016, the latest album, 'Time Capsule, was made available.
